Q.
Due to low supply of breastmilk I have been giving Aptamil Gold to my baby from the very start. But her gas issue and colic seems to become more severe nowadays. Even after proper burping, tummy time, massage and medication( neopetine drops) she seems to be in pain every midnight to the morning until she poops. I heard some doctors suggest sattu paste instead of cerelac to the baby at 4 th month. Is it okay to start semi solid now?

Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done bhiy a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .
