does photo therapy treatment (high bilirubin) damage the eye and skin of a new born baby.

A. Hi eyes and genitals are covered during phototherapy skin tanning may occur but it normalizes after few weeks take treatment as advised by your Paediatrician be in regular follow up of your Paediatrician

A. Not eyes. Skin might have some changes but then as they will grow eventually they will get their color. Nothing to worry about it. Massaging will help to some extent. Massage everyday before bath. Use mild oils like coconut oil or almond oil. You can also use herbal bath powders than soaps.
