Q.

Doctor, At which level of bilirubin Photo therapy is needed for a new born baby. My grand daughter is born on 11 Dec 21 and her bilirubin is 12.75. Her doctor advised to take Sun light.

A. If. The doctor says that you should go ahead with that only because what happens is 5.5 is a regular level if it is more than that then it is considered as jaundice but 12.5 is a little on the higher side but if your doctor is the rising you to keep your child in the sunlight only then that’s fine that’s not an issue but still if you want to keep your child in phototherapy you can ask your doctor for that to
