Q.

Does oral iron supplements cause staining on teeth? Is it permanent? What can be done to avoid it?

A. yes, but is temporary. brushing twice a day, should be followed after administration of the iron supplement, it will help to alleviate tooth discoloration. Also Diluting the iron supplement in juice or some water can help prevent stains to occurs give some sips of water after giving supplement will also help.
