Q.

Does eating a lot or an average amount of candy/sweets/chocolates/cakes below 5 years lead to diabetes? (If hereditary, ie, both or any one parent has diabetes)

A. Dear parent, even if not for diabetes, it is better to not think about giving average amount of sweets/chocolates/candies/cakes to babies. Eating habits are developed from early childhood and once baby gets used to such types of foods it is difficult to get rid of such food habits. They can lead to unhealthy weight gain, dental cavities.
