Do massaging the tear duct area twice or thrice a day.
Apply medium pressure with clean index finger to the part of your baby's eye closest to the nose and massage downward, toward the nose.

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 3 children3 years agoA. while giving massage proper massage at tear duct also help open it also it is said that applying breast milk at tear duct also helps open it so you should try it but giving proper massage definitely do it so you should ask your nurse to give proper massage there
