#doctor yesterday on 28 june 2026 pulse polio immunization drive conducted my kid is 5 years 8 months now opv is for kids below 5 years right but mistakenly I have given him opv yesterday is it harmful

A. Mam it is not harmful because after completing the age of five years when we talk about it there is actually no need to get OPV done or IPV done because the polio vaccination drops and by completing the age of five years so what you did yesterday is okay it’s not a problem it’s not going to create any problem to the child
