Doctor recommended moxifloxacin to my one moth baby and said we need to use this 4 time in day till 6 months in left eye (NSD issue). Is it safe to use antibacterial drop for so long? Will it not affect cornea?

A. Took 2nd opinion 2nd doctor suggested not to use these eye drops more than 4 days. Just do massage to improve. And he suggested to use tobacin instead of moxifloxacin in childs

A. Hello my dear parent! Might be given under certain medical requirements. See if you have any concerns about the medications prescribed by the doctor, and you’re not comfortable with giving it to your child, then better to get back to your doctor on this matter and clarify further.
