doctor prescribed lactulose syrup for stool softener, I am her since 8 days, if I stop giving her she passes hard stool, how long can I give, does it cause any side effects she has fissure and today she cried Alot while passing the stool.

A. baby 6 months old it is not recommended to give any laxatives from mouth to your baby you should use glycerine suppository so suppository in case baby is having severe constipation

A. Not to give on regular basis just give as per your doctors advice. I feel. Your kid is constipated. So it's good and safe to show your kid to your doctor and follow their advise. That would be the best and safest option for your baby. As doctors know exactly our baby body condition and can treat it right and immediately.
