Dermocalm Lotion 100ml belongs to a class of drugs called anti-itching agents used to treat mild itching in conditions such as rashes, eczema, sunburn, stings, insect bites, chickenpox and poison ivy. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin.
Dermocalm Lotion 100ml is a combination of Calamine (anti-itching agent) and Light liquid paraffin (emollient). Calamine causes a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Light liquid paraffin is an emollient (softens and soothes skin) that prevents loss of water from the outer layer of skin. Thus, it hydrates, softens the skin and relieves dryness.
