Doctor - My son is 66 days old do not pass stools from last 5 days. Although we are giving him Colicaid & Neopeptine daily as per doctor advice .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard. hard
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age
