Doctor, my five year old son is an asthma patient and if we stay in a warm place it's get better he doesn't cough but if we stay in a cold place almost everyday he cough so please give me some advice. Thank you.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it mee to benseen. by any child specialist near by or your family pediatric doctor as it is difficult to advise for this without examining the baby . Further any medication according to the examination only .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .nb
