Q.
doctor my baby is 11 months old 2 days back he had fever now he's having cold and running nose sometimes he also coughs but from yesterday he is not taking my breastfeed. while sleeping he used to drink but now he cries and doesn't take. I have him maxtra syrup of 1ml . shall I consult doctor.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 11 months old and he is having a cold and nasal congestion so he doesn’t take breast feeding but crying so give him maxtra 1.3 ml three times a day and steam inhalation

Ed Yes it would be better if you consult your doctor ones they will be advising you with a better medicine to go for so as of now what you are giving is mostly an antiallergic that is quite helpful but still if your child is trouble too much it’s better to consult your doctor for that
