Q.

Doc. my child is now 3.1 years. I want to stop feeding her. how I should do. She starts crying for feeding

A. Make your breasts less available for nursing. Stop wearing nursing clothing such as nursing bras and tops with nursing slits. Shorten each breastfeeding session before stopping it completely. Postpone breastfeeding sessions and Substitute food, drinks, or comfort for breastfeeding. Distract your toddler. Stopping gradually will also help prevent problems like overfull, hard (engorged) breasts and mastitis.

A. You should take a medicine that will help in drying out your breastfeed within 3 to 5 days that’s the only way for you right now because by this age kids normally get very stubborn to go ahead with taking support of medications
