doc has prescribed azithral 200 as sachit is having severe cold we are giving cough medicines also 2 days over still it has not decreaaed and he is getting fever every 6 hourshow long will it take for cough and fever to reduce he has been crying for the last 3 days

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. alonxg with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medixcation .
it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery
