Q.

my daughter is having cold and cough.. doctor prescribed azithral xl 200... but she still hvng low fever and huge cough... am not seeing any improvement... what to do?

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to redvuce the fever and the diuose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Then You should we consult your doctor maybe they can advise you with a better medicine to go for because it is as far as I know is an antibiotic so if that’s not helping then you should know go ahead without consultation with your doctor once again
