Do we need to give bath to newborn baby or hust sponging is better

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. bath is preferable or if not possible sponging can be done you can do alternative ly maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Sponge baths are a great option when your baby isn't ready for a regular (or even baby) tub filled with warm water and shiny bubbles. During a sponge bath, just like during a regular bath, you give your baby an all-over wash and rinse.
