Q.

Do green colour potty is normal for 2 months old baby. please advise, if it is concerning.

A. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give grdeen colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.

A. As soon as I notice is completely normal and secondly if you’re giving any formula feeding to the child then it would more or less be associated with that but in general cases kids can pass green coloured motion for initial 60 to 70 days
