Do babies cry a lot after giving pain vaccination for 6 weeks old baby.. is there any difference in efficacy of painful and painless injections.. plz suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever cas well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophobc gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in maxg 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
