A. Dear mum, for Rehatpal, give small frequent meals 5 times a day. This should include 2 healthy snacks in between. Give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day which includes milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Give nuts like almonds, walnuts and dry fruits like raisins, dates. Variety of grains, cereal and pulses.
