Q.
Description: My kid 8 days old Born weight is (2.68), after 3days weight got decreased(2.45), now it's 8th day weight got decreased to (2.22, which is more than 10%). So my kid weight decreased to 17% from born weight. Doctor suggested need to admit in NICU. Question: Now Should I admit or I need to weight couple of days more? Note: Mother has sufficient milk, we suspect that baby is getting low milk supply.

The weight gain is definitely not happening and it is reducing down that means there is some problem maybe the breastfeeding may be enough in terms of quantity but not quality second most important thing that you need to ask your doctor that wide do you need to admit your child NICU so you need to have a clarity before you take the decision because this way even I cannot tell you whether should you be admitting your child or not
