Dear sir/madam, We have given polio drops to our 30 days old baby today. Will she get fever for polio drops? If yes, what medication should we give to her?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. polio drops does not cause any type of fever in children so kindly do not worry about it and when you take the temperature in the armpit and if it is 100 or more than only consider it as fever

Hello ma’am With polio drops a child never gets fever it is normally after a vaccination that a child gets fever still if you believe that your child may get fever at any point of time and it should be more than 99° fahrenheit and if it is more than that then you can give paracetamol to your child
