Dear Sir/Madam My daughter is 6 year old. Since few days (mostly 20-25 days ), while sleeping she is taking breath using her mouth, instead of nose.She doeant have any running nose, but then seems that her nose is congested and she is making a sound and taking breath using mouth. Earlier it was not that. Please suggest Regards Deeptha

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. due to recurrent allergy as well as common cold there might be nasal blockage as well as condition which might not be seen but internally they may be slightly narrow due to which the child is taking breathing more from the oral cavity but if it is not causing any problem do not worry about it
