Q.

dear experts, still we didn't take shot of 6 months vaccination to my baby, bcz we are out station from city, then I checked with local pediatrician for 6 months vaccination where I am staying, doctor told vaccination not available now, it will come after March 3rd week, you can come and take a shot on that time, my question is after March 3rd week my baby truns 8 months almost, it is ok to take 6 months vaccination that time? #asktheexpert

A. the rule is that when you give vaccination to the child the immunity for that disease will start after that time and in case of flu vaccine the strain changes every year and the new vaccine comes after that time so it is advisable to follow your doctor and get the child vaccine at that time
