Q.

Dear Dr . My baby hasn’t gain much weight(50 gram) in first month due to infection in naval. I am so worried about his weight gain ! Now he is fine , will he gain weight in upcoming months ? What should i do to ensure he is gaining weight ? Please suggest

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months for healthy growth and weight gain

A. Hello dear parent! Do not worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Just ensure that your baby is well fed for every 3 hours to start with. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments. Good luck and take care.
