Dear Dr, Dear Dr, My son is 2 yrs 10 months old.We r noticing that he blinks his eye 1 sec fastly than normal sometimes in day but he's normal in all activities. We r doubting that he's doing it due to watching mobile phone. Kindly advise about it as we r fearing about it.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. yes possible to tv or mobile blinking of the eyes maybe related to some type of irritation in eyes so kindly make sure that the eyes are clean. sometimes it might be related to refractive error also. so get the child examine for need for vision error. sometimes it might be a part of habit also so that has to be ruled out. sometimes it might be a part of some eyes related disease and pathology. meet your doctor if it is continuous in nature
