Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 10 days also.
Slight discomfort as well as sttraining while passing urine and stool is also normal.
You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not worry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.

As long as your baby is active and healthy, normal, passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times in a day, showing no symptoms of discomfort then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
