Q.
Dear doctor my baby will complete 5months on 1st of august. We r feeding her lactodex 1 infant formula and lactodex 1 is not easily available at our place, so i need ur advice on this matter....... shall we give lactogen 1 instead of lactodex 1,does it affect my baby and also can we start to feed her with cerelac (starting with small amount).

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 5 month Start weaning foods by 6 month of age start with basic fruit purees like apple banana purees add more fruits and vegetables in the diet add dry fruits powder in the diet maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration

yes u can give lactogen formula milk to ur baby.
There is no problem in that.
secondly
once ur baby completes six months then u can start with cerelac,daal ka pani,ripe banana apple puree pumpkin puree etc as the first food
