Q.

Dear Doctor, My 2 year 4 months toddler having Mucus in her stool. Last week she had stomach infection. Doctor prescribed Oflox, ondem and pacimol, for next 4/5 days she was fine. but from last two days she is having Mucus (sticky strings) in her stool in smaller quantities. Please suggest what to do....

A. it may be a sign of inf. Loose stool may be sign of any viral infection or any food poisoning . Limit of milk along with probiotics like enterogermina and zinc will help In these . ORS is to be given in sufficient quantity as baby drink to prevent any dehydration .
