dear doctor.. as I have told earlier my 4.4 yr old boy met with accident and had femur bone surgery.. he did motions after anal pills were injected.. agn after 2 days he did normal motions but past 3 days no motions can I use pills again is it safe.. plz help me out

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 4.4 years old and if he is having problem of potty then you can use anal pills alternate days and give him syrup polybion sf 5 ml which will help him for easy potty

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is more than 4 years of age if baby is having severe constipation putting occasionally suppositories in the baby is not a problem but please give adequate water and all seasonal fruits to the baby

instead of the medicines ,if your doctor permits ,you can opt for natural ways like:
please keep your child well hydrated.
offer fiber rich food like palak soup, Tomato soup,prune juice or fruits like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child which helps to make digestion easy.
soaked black raisins are also good for this.
provide natural Probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk banana etc to your child.
or give warm milk with 1 tsp of ghee before sleeping time.
maintain good hygiene.
