Q.

Dear doctor, 1 week after the birth bilirubin of my child was 10 units. It has been 5 weeks still the yellowish in the eye whites has not gone. Baby is completely on breast milk. Does prolonged jaundice cause brain damage if it is 10 units also. What is the immediate action to be taken?
