Q.

Child is new born and having weight of 2.6kg at birth now he is 25dayd old his weight is 2.5kg....only mother feed is given

A. you need to take a proper guidance from the pediatrician regarding the weight monitoring as there should be an increase in the weight by 25 to 30 grams everyday in a baby which is more than 10 days old just give exclusive breastfeeding frequently in the gap of one to one and a half hour and see that the urine output of the baby should be 10 to 15 times in a day

A. Consider Supplementing If your baby's doctor thinks it's necessary, you may have to supplement your baby with additional feedings of either pumped breast milk or infant formula. You can also try to pump and separate your foremilk from your hindmilk. Hindmilk is higher in fat and calories, which can help your baby gain more weight.
