At room temperature (no more than 25 degrees C), for up to six hours.
In a home freezer (at minus 18 degrees C or lower), for up to six months.
In a fridge (at four degrees C or colder), for up to five days.
while offering it warm breastmilk, you should place it in a container of hot water where it can absorb heat from some of the surrounding liquid. First, heat up the water, that you are going to use, in a small container. Then, place the container of frozen milk in the container to warm up.
