can we give Tulsi and honey to my baby as she is suffering from cough and cold

A. yescan give additional Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it can be allergic too. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl /ascoril flu cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it will be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.no self treatment should be done.

A. hi mam ,honey can be given only after one year age as early introduction of it can cause Infection please don't give it . offer plenty of breastfeeds to your child which is most important to cure it faster. you can give massage with warm coconut oil and two drops of mustard oil . gently rub onion on your child sole.
