can we give jaggery to baby's instead of sugar..?

A. yes, after 8 month can use it.. better to avoid adding salt and sugar till one year..as it will affect your baby's developing kidney.. You can give different taste by adding Cummin powder, Curry leaves, coriender leaves,nutmeg.

A. Babies older than one year can be given jaggery. Jaggery powder is a good source of iron. One serving of jaggery powder contains 0.5mg of iron. Jaggery powder contains phosphorous and calcium in a large amount, which are minerals essential for the development of strong, healthy bones of the babies.
