Well actually they are highly rich in fibre which is why it keeps a tummy full for a longer time it does not make you lose weight because when adults eat it they eat it with the purpose of losing weight they are full for a longer duration but for a child when you give it fibres are essentially important for good digestion and motion and if it keeps him sufficiently full for a longer duration that means that the child is satisfied the child is eating something light also which will help in better digestion and better movement so it has got no connection with weight loss it’s totally a misconception
