A. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that babies under 12 months of age should not consume added salt or sugar, as their kidneys and taste buds are not yet fully developed. Excessive amounts of salt may be unhealthy for a baby’s kidneys, and sugar consumption may interfere with developing teeth and healthy eating habits. It's important to let your baby's taste buds get used to the natural flavor of foods. You can introduce a variety of foods and textures as your baby grows, and avoid adding salt or sugar to their food. Breast milk or formula should provide all the necessary nutrients for a 6-month-old baby, and at around 6 months, you can start introducing pureed or mashed fruits and vegetables. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your baby's nutrition and feeding, you can consult with a pediatrician or a certified lactation consultant. They can provide guidance on the appropriate foods for your baby at each stage of development.

A. Don’t add sugar instead you can go ahead with using jaggery powder if you want that’s going to be a healthy option and salt and other spices including Desi ghee butter all these things can be used from the beginning itself it’s very healthy for the child
