can use thrombophob ointment for my 4 months old baby for swelling on injected area of vaccination

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if your child has got the DPT vaccine it causes pain fever and swelling and you can apply ice fomentation over the injection site and yes you can apply this ointment locally there

Yup You can use it if you want to otherwise you can also wrap ice cube on to that area gently every now and then because that is also going to help in settling down the swelling and pain into that area and if there is pain or fever give paracetamol to the child
