A. yes you have to start cleaning the oral cavity with water everyday after giving food to the child. also after first tooth eruption you have to start cleaning the teeth of the child at least two times per day either with your finger or cotton cloth. after few more tooth eruption it is advisable to go for finger toothbrush. initially you have to use baby toothpaste of any good brand and take only very small quantity of tooth paste (pea size quantity) to do to tooth brushing. tongue--initially with the help of fingers and clean cotton cloth and later with the help of tongue cleaner you should clean the tongue of the child.

A. It's generally recommended to wait until your baby's first teeth start to erupt before introducing a silicone finger brush or any other type of toothbrush. This typically occurs around 6 months of age, but it can vary from baby to baby. Before your baby's teeth start to come in, you can gently clean their gums with a clean, damp cloth or gauze pad after feedings. This helps remove any milk residue and bacteria from their gums and promotes good oral hygiene. Once your baby's first teeth start to appear, you can start using a silicone finger brush or infant toothbrush specifically designed for babies. These brushes are gentle on your baby's delicate gums and teeth and help establish good oral hygiene habits from an early age. Before introducing any new oral care products, it's a good idea to consult with your pediatrician or a pediatric dentist for personalized advice based on your baby's individual needs and development. They can provide guidance on when to start using a finger brush or toothbrush and offer tips on proper oral care for your baby.
