can i take cold and cough medicine during breastfeeding? my baby is 5 month old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. yes can take take tablet cetirizine 10mg once a day and paracetamol 500 mg can be taken for fever as well as pain. go for hot saline gargles at least 4 times per day and take tulsi ginger honey as well as turmeric with milk. you can continue breastfeeding if going on. if there is no improvement in 3 days it is advisable to meet the doctor
