POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. Semi solid foods can be started in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months. Try to feed fresh and home cooked meals like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrots and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, etc. Ready to eat cerelac should be fed only 3-4 times a week as it contains artificial sugar which is not good for still developing teeth.
