Can I introduce ghee to my 6 months old baby

A. Initially don’t start ghee as it is heavy to digest for the baby and initially start with light to digest foods to the baby and give rice kanji to the baby take care

A. yes u can add a very small amount of homemade ghee in the puree or porridge, whatever u r feeding to the baby as it aids digestion. This was suggested by my baby pediatrician and I have been adding it from the day i have started semi - solids. My baby is okay with it, didn't face any problem till now. U can try it, if ur baby is not okay with it, u will get to know within 1-2 days and u can stop it. but mostly there won't be any such problem I guess.

A. Yes it is a healthy fat so Desi ghee and butter can be given to the child from the very beginning itself once you start giving semisolid food to the child the doctors also say healthy fat is considered good for healthy growth of the childWrite Your Answer Here
