Can I give banana to my 3 years old in cough and cold?

I checked her temperature it is 100 f now.. but touch karne par normal lag rahi Hai. do I need to give her calpol or any medicine for fever.. she had viral infection ,medicine ka course pura ho gaya Hai... bus thoda cough Hai.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. yes u can give Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause .
As a home remedy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough supprevyssant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .
