This is because the sugars in the fruits will spike your kid's energy levels, which can cause insomnia and listlessness. Fruits should be eaten with the right spacing from a meal. If you have fruits immediately after a meal and before bed, it may create digestive discomfort because meals and fruits have varied digestive rates and fruits may end up fermenting in your digestive tract.
