Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. In COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING start with two rules
Rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow
Rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well as it will help in creating the taste in the child.
you can gradually start alll types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. You have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amount
whenever you give any new food to the child you have to take care of two things. you should give in small quantity. if the child doesn't develop any digestion problem in next 24 hours to 48 hours and the child is able to digest that food then that food can be given again. but if the child is not able to digest or there is some problem with vomiting or loose motion or colic pain then kindly avoid that food
