A. A 7 months old baby's diet will still remain breastmilk or formula milk. Any new introduction of food can be done only after 8 months onwards. You should ideally feed milk as first food, then after an hour or so give any semi solid food for breakfast like sooji or ragi porridge, pureed apple or pear, mashed banana, etc. Mid afternoon, give milk and in lunch feed either khichdi, mixed vegetable soup or pureed lentil. Before nap again give milk. In the evening, dinner and before sleeping give only milk. So, milk should be fed 5-6 times and semi solid food only 2 times a day. Slowly, baby will gain weight.
