can i add little salt in food for 8months old baby? without salt, taste is very blend n baby dont like it.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. don't add, Babies doesn't know sweet or salt taste unless we introduce it. So do not worry the food is bland.

yes you can add
but add it in very very small quantity
because babies at this stage of age don't need that much amount of salt which we adults take in our own diet
so please be careful as extra amount of salt can cause kidney problem
