can a mother suffering from covid continue to breast feed?

Mayuri PawarGuardian of a 5 yr old girl4 years agoA. No u cannot breastfeed ur baby if u r covid positive and baby being negative.
Completley avoid being with your baby, and other family members.
Consult your baby's pediatrician and under their guidance start feeds for your baby.
U too take medication for Covid.

Yes you can give
Wash your hands often before touching your baby
Wear mask
Use hand sanitiser
Take a good care of your baby
Or give by expressing your milk
Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
You can also give formula milk alternatively
