A. At around 6 months old, babies are typically ready to start eating solid foods, as this is when they develop the ability to sit up with support, show interest in food, and have better control over their tongue and swallowing. At 4 months old, babies should still be exclusively breastfed or formula-fed. If you feel your baby is showing signs of readiness for solids earlier, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician before introducing foods, as starting too early can sometimes lead to digestive issues.
