A. hi after age of 4 months ,a baby can react to the sounds but he or she can respond to his or her names after age of 8 or 9 months. but all babies are different. so please don't compare your child with others. if your child looks happy healthy and active,gains enough weight , achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about anything.
